I have a new quote to reflex upon: "Don't eat anything your great grandmother wouldn't recognize as food." Probably that thought for health reasons could also encompass, exercise the way people did before TV and video games: walk, bicycle, use a row boat, climb stairs, garden, play games with your children, enjoy a group sport, swim and enjoy a loving sex life. Most of these activities are inexpensive and the foods are usually fresh (not fast food or made from a mix). There you have a very simple health plan. Another part of mental health is to actually talk to people (eye to eye) not just on the phone or e-mailing or texting. If you are reading this, let's get together for a real conversation and get back to the finer things in life, such as caring for others and taking good care of ourselves: body, mind and spirit.
